- Preheat oven to 425°F. Place a baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven to heat.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt.
- Using a pastry brush, coat both sides of each flatbread evenly with the garlic butter mixture.
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add 1 clove minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add 3/4 cup Parmesan, black pepper, and nutmeg. Whisk until smooth and slightly thickened, about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Place flatbreads onto the preheated baking sheet. Spread Alfredo sauce evenly over each, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
- Distribute shredded mozzarella over the sauced flatbreads and sprinkle 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly and crust is golden around the edges.
- Remove from oven. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley, slice, and serve warm.
