→ Garlic Butter
02 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
03 - 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
04 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
→ Alfredo Sauce
06 - 1 cup heavy cream
07 - 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
08 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
09 - 1 clove garlic, minced
10 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
11 - Pinch nutmeg (optional)
→ Topping
12 - 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
13 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
14 - 1 tablespoon fresh basil or parsley, chopped, for garnish
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Place a baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven to heat.
02 - In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt.
03 - Using a pastry brush, coat both sides of each flatbread evenly with the garlic butter mixture.
04 - Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add 1 clove minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add 3/4 cup Parmesan, black pepper, and nutmeg. Whisk until smooth and slightly thickened, about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat.
05 - Place flatbreads onto the preheated baking sheet. Spread Alfredo sauce evenly over each, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
06 - Distribute shredded mozzarella over the sauced flatbreads and sprinkle 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese on top.
07 - Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly and crust is golden around the edges.
08 - Remove from oven. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley, slice, and serve warm.
