# Directions:
- In a large bowl, cream softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add molasses and egg, mixing thoroughly. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, ground ginger, cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, and salt. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into wet mixture until dough forms. Divide dough in half, shape into discs, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Roll chilled dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Using templates or cookie cutters, cut out panels for walls, roofs, and doors. Place pieces on parchment-lined baking sheets and bake for 12–15 minutes until firm. Allow to cool completely before assembling.
- Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy. Gradually add sifted powdered sugar while continuing to beat until stiff peaks form. Transfer icing into a piping bag for assembly use.
- Place gingerbread pieces, assorted candies, royal icing, and decorating tools on a large serving board or platter for easy access during assembly.
- Invite guests to construct mini gingerbread houses using the pieces, royal icing as glue, and decorative candies. Encourage creativity and festive design.
- Sprinkle shredded coconut over the board to simulate snow. Optionally, scatter fresh berries for vibrant color accents.
- Present the decorated platter as an interactive festive centerpiece and delightful treat.
