01 - Boil bowtie pasta in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/4 cup pasta water.
02 - Season chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, and dried Italian herbs.
03 - Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook 5 to 7 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
04 - Reduce heat to medium and melt remaining 3 tablespoons butter in the skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
05 - Pour in chicken broth, bring to a simmer, scraping up browned bits from the pan.
06 - Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until smooth.
07 - Return chicken to skillet and add drained pasta. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
