# Components:

→ Filling

01 - 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
02 - 3.5 ounces cream cheese, softened
03 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
05 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
06 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
07 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
08 - 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Wonton Bites

09 - 24 square wonton wrappers
10 - Vegetable oil, for frying

→ Garnish (optional)

11 - 2 tablespoons chopped chives or green onions
12 - Sweet chili sauce or soy sauce, for dipping

# Directions:

01 - In a mixing bowl, blend pumpkin puree, softened cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
02 - Lay a wonton wrapper on a dry, clean surface. Place about 1 teaspoon of the pumpkin filling in the center.
03 - Moisten the edges with water using a pastry brush or fingertip. Fold the wrapper over the filling to create a triangle, pressing out the air and sealing the edges securely. For a decorative shape, fold the side corners towards each other and seal with a dab of water.
04 - Continue filling and folding the remaining wonton wrappers in the same manner.
05 - Pour about 2 inches of vegetable oil into a deep pan or pot and heat to 350°F (175°C).
06 - Carefully fry wontons in batches for 2 to 3 minutes, turning once, until golden and crisp. Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure even cooking.
07 - Remove the fried wontons with a slotted spoon and transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil.
08 - Arrange wonton bites on a serving platter. Garnish with chopped chives or green onions and serve with sweet chili sauce or soy sauce.
