Nutella Puff Pastry Snowflakes (Print)

Golden puff pastry filled with Nutella, shaped into festive snowflakes for a delightful treat.

# Components:

→ Pastry

01 - 2 sheets ready-rolled puff pastry (each approximately 8.8 oz), thawed

→ Filling

02 - 6 tbsp Nutella chocolate-hazelnut spread

→ Topping

03 - 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
04 - 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll one sheet of puff pastry and place it on the prepared baking tray.
03 - Evenly spread Nutella across the pastry, leaving a 0.4 inch border around the edges.
04 - Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top, aligning edges carefully.
05 - Position a small glass in the center without pressing. Cut the pastry into 16 equal strips from the glass edge to the pastry edge using a sharp knife.
06 - Gently twist each strip 2 to 3 times. Optionally, pinch strip ends together to enhance the snowflake appearance.
07 - Remove the glass and brush the entire pastry surface with beaten egg for a golden finish.
08 - Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until puffed and deep golden brown.
09 - Let cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm or at room temperature.
